Traveling away from Lima for a month was actually a very long time, but this trip ended up being extremely beneficial in many ways. I went to Italy and Spain, two amazing countries I hadn't visited before, and every day I would go to bed exhausted, and with tons of new memories of these places. It had always been my dream to visit Italy and the beaches in Spain so I had very high expectations, which were met effectively. Some days we were walking and enjoying the places we would visit, but also some days we would lay down at the beach and just enjoy the peace and quiet. The beach days were where I put special focus on my HABIT, and I would read way more than 30 minutes; that was just the minimum amount of time I spent reading. This month where I was either actively walking and getting to know new places, I also got to take many pictures, which I hadn't been doing for a while. Even though my camera had recently broken, I would use my phone to take them, and though they weren't top-notch quality, they turned out pretty good.
Mostly, I got the chance to "disconnect" in a way from everything in Lima, and have a little time for myself, where I would work on my habit, or do the things that I enjoy the most. It was a month very well spent and now I feel ready and prepared for a good start at school tomorrow, now that I'm back home.
