Begin planning and rubric
Today we had an assembly where we were explained the final details for the goal submission, which is on my home page for the personal project.
There is something else I though of today that I hadn't before. I had already done all my research and investigating on the backpack (designing, patterns, aspects of the bag), but I hadn't done any research at all as of how does a professional commercial l☮☮k like, or how are they organized and made. This is something I will begin to research now, because when I begin creating the ad, I must know all these things very well.
Planning was briefly explained, but not quite in depth so to start the plan I made a brainstorming list of some steps/tasks I will need to go through in order to create my p r o d u c t

Plan Personal Project:
Steps needed (not necessarily in order):
- Speak with mentor to get ideas clear.
- Design at least 7 initial designs for my backpacks.
- Survey your initial designs to your peers to help you choose which three designs to start with.
- Create the three final designs for the backpacks you will begin creating.
- Go shopping for cloths with patterns that could be used on the backpacks.
- Find a place where they can make the backpacks (based on your specific designs).
- Ask the contact making your designs if there is anything else you need to buy for making the backpacks.
- Accept any clarifying feedback from the contact on your designs so they can have a more clear idea on how you want the backpacks to be.
- Elaborate a logo for my brand: Bengal
- Find a place to stamp the logo on a patch so it can be placed on all of the backpacks to represent the brand (make sure to give these patches to the contact so they can place it on the backpack).
- Depending on how much the making of the backpack cost overall, I will set a reasonable price for these bags.
- Before selling these backpacks, the commercial must be created.
Commercial:
- Write out the script or planning for the commercial to have an idea about how it will look like and where it will be.
- Contact the people that will be required for the making of this commercial (backstage or onstage).
- Collect any props or materials needed to create the commercial (backpacks included).
- The filming of this commercial will then take place, and it might take more than a day.
- I will then edit the video on my computer, and take advantage of this opportunity to learn new skills on editing videos.
- Publish the finished commercial on YouTube and expand to my classmates so the brand will become known.
Selling:
- After people see my commercial, they will hopefully want to buy backpacks.
