Since I have been falling pretty behind recently, I decided to set actual due-dates for each step on my plan for the product.
BAG MAKING (will be done by end of semester)
May 25: Design at least 7 initial designs for my backpacks.
May 27: Survey your initial designs to your peers to help you choose which three designs to start with.
May 30: Create the three final designs for the backpacks you will begin creating.
June 8: Go shopping for cloths with patterns that could be used on the backpacks.
June 8: Find a place where they can make the backpacks (based on your specific designs).
June 8: Ask the contact making your designs if there is anything else you need to buy for making the backpacks.
June 8: Accept any clarifying feedback from the contact on your designs so they can have a more clear idea on how you want the backpacks to be.
June 12: Elaborate a logo for my brand: Bengal
June 13: Find a place to stamp the logo on a patch so it can be placed on all of the backpacks to represent the brand (make sure to give these patches to the contact so they can place it on the backpack).
June 20: Depending on how much the making of the backpack cost overall, I will set a reasonable price for these bags.
COMMERCIAL MAKING (will be done at start of semester 1)
June 28: Write out the script or planning for the commercial to have an idea about how it will look like and where it will be.
August 4: Contact the people that will be required for the making of this commercial (backstage or onstage).
August 17: Collect any props or materials needed to create the commercial (backpacks included).
August 24: The filming of this commercial will then take place, and it might take more than a day.
September 6: I will then edit the video on my computer, and take advantage of this opportunity to learn new skills on editing videos.
September 7: Publish the finished commercial on YouTube and expand to my classmates so the brand will become known.
