Today I contacted the girls I want to appear in my commercial, and all three of them happily agreed. As for the outfits, the two in charge of that will come to my house tomorrow--the day we will film the commercial-- and decide the wardrobe from my closet. The outfits will have to be unique so they'll stand o u t when people see the finished commercial. I already have everything very well planned: I know what scenes to film, what music to add, where to edit the video (FinalCut Pro), but I still had a problem. My Nikon D5100, which was the device I had originally planned to use for filming, stopped working during the July vacations. Many of my friends own professional cameras that film very well, so the next thing on my checklist is to find someone who is willing to lend me their camera for one afternoon. This was a mistake of mine, because I just remembered that I needed a camera to film the DAY before, when I could have been planning a solution about a month ago. Anyhow, I learned from this and have now made sure that nothing is missing, by planning out every remaining step of the way in my head.
Recently, I also went to the place where my backpacks were made, and they told me that they weren't willing to sew my logo onto the handle. This was a problem, because for my brand to be my own, I needed a logo. Luckily, there are many other places willing to complete this task, so I just have to make a call and it will be done. And I don't need this accomplished before tomorrow because the complete logo is only required for selling; the commercial won't focus on the handle.
As for the business plan, I am also ready . After talking to my parents about my personal project, I found out that my father has experience with making business plans, and was more than willing to help me make mine. Since I am already decided on a price for the backpacks (200 soles), I am also set for creating the business plan. After filming and editing the commercial, this will be my next step. I have recently been progressing effectively and the completion of this project is getting near.
